Gap put out two separate cat-patterned button-ups in what
seems like a very short time frame (I looked up my order history–one was purchased in April, the other in SeptemberI, so basically 2013 is just one big blur and the whole year will be lost to history in no time) and I bought both because I'm on a mission to
become a crazy cat lady, and it's becoming easier and easier this fall.
Neon pink? No one knows this is cats from a distance. It looks dusty pink in this photo, but it's more of a eye-popping coral in person.
Or on this one either really. Cat clusters in a more stately primary color palette.
Oh, and then last week I bought a cat sweater from Forever
21 online after seeing it in an xoJane round up. (I write about social shopping for
work and like to think that I'm immune, but it turns out that I'm highly influenced by [some] items
others post online.) If anything, I should be more concerned about wanting teen plus-sized clothing than wearing cat patterns.
I thought my cat lady-ness was under wraps, but a friend on
Facebook sent me this photo from Target.
By next October I will be wearing this.
