You
know who's looking very good for her age? Kathleen Hanna. I only know this
because she's been on a PR bender (ok, I'm just referring to Vulture and the
Times, well, and Spin and a zillion others) promoting her new band the Julie Ruin. 44 suits her fine. 

Who knows why. Good genes? 
Lack of stress? Surfeit of money? 
Absence of children?  I like to
believe it has something to do with the Northwest. Maybe it's all that rain and
moss.

I am now waiting for her and Adam Horovitz's style section
house tour (though I think they'd have to move from Manhattan to Brooklyn for enough
indie cred to merit an article). Maybe they could even give their real ages
unlike that other Beastie Boy and his wife.

Also, a roast is a roast, but Sarah Silverman (also very spry
looking for her ancient 42) does make a good point here about there still being
something shitty about using age to pick on women (even jokingly at an event
focused on making famous people feel shitty).
