No matter how much I long to leave Carroll Gardens behind me (I’m still coming to terms with the fact that a new apartment smaller than what I have now rents for $4,400–and that people gladly pay that) and how much more I love Queens than Brooklyn, even though it would ruin my commute, I don’t have the vision to see past the interior atrocities that thrive in 98% of my preferred borough’s housing stock. The word “death” frequently comes to mind when click through photos. I feel compelled to share now and probably in the future. Just one pic at a time.
